Dr. Humphrey is a Bushnell native who returned home after earning her veterinary degree from Louisiana State University in 2013. She earned her Bachelor's in Animal Science from the University of Florida. Her professional interests include internal medicine, dentistry, and client education—she believes the best care happens when pet owners truly understand their pet's health. Dr. Humphrey works alongside her husband, Chad, at Jumper Creek. Together they took over ownership of Jumper Creek in 2025 with the goal of continuing the great legacy built by Dr. Yates. They have a five-year-old son and a Labrador Retriever named Layla. When she's not caring for pets, she enjoys reading and family vacations to the mountains and beach. Dr. Yates founded Jumper Creek Veterinary Clinic in 1992 and continues to practice alongside the team he built. A Colorado native, he earned both his Bachelor's in Microbiology and his veterinary degree from Colorado State University. His professional interests focus on internal medicine and surgery. Dr. Yates shares his home with an impressive crew: Golden Retriever Gus, plus seven cats, including Dobby (who has three legs) and Mazikeen (who has an attitude). Outside the clinic, he enjoys poker, soccer, and his favorite role—being a grandfather. His wife Lynne served as the clinic’s bookkeeper for over 3 decades. Dr. Rothberg has practiced veterinary medicine for over 55 years and still loves every minute of it. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1968 and was recognized as Best Veterinarian of South Jersey in 1993. A Queens, New York native, she's passionate about internal medicine and dermatology but truly loves all aspects of veterinary care. Dr. Rothberg shares her life with an extended animal family: two dogs, seven cats, and several reptiles, including snakes, tortoises, and lizards. Her dedication to helping animals—and the people who love them—remains as strong today as it was at the start. Dr. Meyer joined Jumper Creek in April 2025 after graduating from Ross School of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. She grew up on a small farm in Cedarhill, Missouri, and earned her Bachelor's in Wildlife Biology from Missouri State University, where she interned at Dickerson Park Zoo. Her professional interests include general practice, integrative medicine, and wildlife care. Dr. Meyer shares her home with Nisi and Felix, two mixed-breed rescues from St. Kitts, where she attended veterinary school. She hand-raised Felix from just five days old. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, swimming, kayaking, and crocheting. Our Doctors
