We’re Ready to Help
Sometimes, health problems, injuries, and illnesses require immediate care. During our regular hours, we’re ready and able to assist with many pet emergencies. Our team is experienced in handling urgent situations, including snake bites (we keep antivenom on hand), heatstroke, poison exposure, wounds, and more.
Please call us at (352) 568-1333 before coming in. This allows our team to prepare for your pet’s arrival and assess whether we can provide the care they need, or if they should go directly to a 24-hour emergency facility. We do our best to accommodate every pet that needs help, but sometimes capacity or the complexity of the case means your pet will be better served at a full-service emergency hospital.
When you arrive, our team will quickly assess your pet’s condition and determine the appropriate course of action. Our facility is equipped with in-house lab work, digital imaging, and ultrasound to help us diagnose and treat a wide range of urgent situations. Our veterinarians work collaboratively, bringing their combined expertise to every case.
