Annual wellness exams are important for keeping up with your pet’s health. Dogs and cats age much quicker than people and a lot can change from year to year. Getting ahead of any problems they might have helps to provide them with long quality lives. We suggest yearly physical exams.
Dentals Cleanings
Dental disease is one of the number top issues we see in our patients. Dental cleanings are a routine anesthetic procedure used to remove tartar and prevent advanced stages of periodontal disease caused by plaque. We also perform dental radiographs in order gain a complete assessment of the teeth. What we see on the surface and what we can see on digital radiographs are two separate things. The clinic offers a wide variety of teeth maintenance products like chews, toothpaste, water additives and special diets.
Pharmacy
We have a fully stocked pharmacy ready for all your needs. If we do not have what you’re looking for, we can order it and usually have it within two days. The hospital also has a wide variety of parasite prevention that is available in clinic or through our online pharmacy.
Surgery
Dr. Yates and Dr. Humphrey can perform a wide array of surgical procedures. From spays and neuters to an abdominal exploratory or enucleations, they’ll tackle most surgeries. In-house diagnostics
Our hospital offers many in-house laboratory tests. Some of the most common ones include: chemistry, CBC, urinalysis, digital radiographs, ultrasound, cytology, parasite detection, and many others we can send out to the lab.
Walk-Ins and Emergencies
Unforeseen problems and emergencies are bound to happen. Here at Jumper Creek, we do our best to accommodate all pets in need of medical attention. Unfortunately, we are not able to see every pet that wants to walk in the door. Sometimes we have to refer emergencies out to ER clinics because we are overbooked or it requires an intensive care unit. Please refer to our ER clinic page so you know what options are available to you.
Grooming
Our grooming services include bathing, nail trims, and ear cleanings. We do not do any kind of shaving/cutting hair unless it is deemed medically necessary.
